SP unlock for a Siemens A50?

Anyone know, and willing to share, the SP unlock codes for a Siemens A50?
Alternatively, anyone have any experience of the following?

I have a Siemens A50 which my mother was using on O2 and which she has given
to me. I want to use Vodaphone PAYG. If I walk into my local Vodaphone
shop and buy a PAYG SIM, are they likely to unlock it for me? I don't care
if they then re-lock it to Vodaphone!
