NEC E228 & USB Transfer of Images to PC

Hello All

Help please...

I'm trying to transfer image files from my NEC E228 to my PC for the first
time using a USB Cable & NEC PC File Transfer v 1.0.

Getting 'The handset database is locked. Unable to transfer the data. Please
confirm that data transfer mode is set on the handset'

Can't see reference to this in the manual... any offers ?

Go to "Menu 7" (should be "external connection" but i'm not sure since
I've the italian texts);then choose USB. Do that after having plugged
the USB cable and connected the PC. Only now you can transfer data to
and from the phone.
i.e. you have to set the phone in the "transfer mode".
